Breakfast is Blooming at the Bridge
January quiet for a lot of hospitality sites, but the Bridge Inn in Horton is far from quiet.

The Bridge Inn Horton, on the Kennet & Avon Canal on the outskirts of Devizes in Wiltshire has proven popular after Publican Diane Warburton added Breakfasts to their daily offerings.

Served from 0900 - 1200 Monday to Saturday currently, the Bridge Inn has been inundated with new and returning customers looking for that all important meal of the day.
​
Diane said; "I like using local produce, so the bacon, sausage, and eggs come from round the corner at Lowerfields Farm. I use them for our Sunday Beef & Pork as well, and find that their produce oozes quality."
​
Whether you're after a Full English or Scrambled Egg on Toast, Diane's lovely team only ensure that you are content.

"The breakfast's have added an extra string to our bow, and although the evenings are darker at the moment, you at least can start the day well with one of our breakfasts and good coffee"

Sarah and Roxie welcome all that come through the door, and ensure that they leave extremely happy. There's always room to supplement an item for another, so if you are one of those that doesn't like Black Pudding, you of course can have an extra sausage.
​
It has proved to be very popular and now they do request that should you be wanting to visit, then please do book, or just phone ahead to ensure there is room.

Not wanting to leave their offering to just breakfast, they have a good solid menu, giving you everything that you would expect from a typical country pub such as Lasagne, Fish & Chips, or a proper burger - again from the farm. The Bridge Inn, like most eateries also caters for all diets, and are flexible and happy to tweak menu items where needed.
​
The Bridge is now also holding open mic nights one evening during a month, so if you fancy being the next Bowie, or just want to express yourself in song, the Bridge is the place for you.
​

The Bridge is open daily from 0900, and serves food between 0900 - 1430, and then again from 1700-2000. Although, the evening kitchen is currently closed until the 15th January.
Sunday Lunch is also a firm winner here, and booking is definitely required.
